One floor up is the lovely interior garden-patio which opens onto an intimate breakfast room. Look out for the montone (mouton, an Alpine goat) who gave his name to the original hotel on this site, founded in 1467. As the symbol of the hotel, his triplet of curled horns peep out from the silver-plated lobby furniture, from lampshades in the bar and on items of furniture in some rooms.
